Glass Splashbacks

Glass splashbacks are fast becoming the design alternative in modern homes. They are smooth and easy to clean, providing a grout free surface with the added benefit of the reflective gloss of glass to add that extra dimension to your design project.

Byford Glass carries an extensive range of sample colours to meet the design needs of our clients, but the choice does not stop there. We can colour match to any sample provided, enabling an unlimited choice when adding that finishing touch to your home.

We use high quality 6mm clear toughened glass for most applications, but recommend 6mm ultra white (low iron) toughened glass is used when lighter paint colours are chosen. This removes any concern caused by the natural ‘greening’ of glass due to its iron content.

Byford Glass splashbacks are versatile and durable, our paint is of the highest quality and is warranted for 10 years against fading, peeling or blistering in a residential application.

Shower screens

The team at Byford Glass design, manufacture and install shower screens to suit the individual project.

Whether you are after a framed, semi frameless or frameless shower screen we can produce the product that will enhance your bathroom and provide years of trouble free service.

At Byford Glass all shower screens are produced using A grade safety glass in accordance with AS1288/2006 and our semi framed and frameless screens are manufactured using high quality aluminium frames in chrome, satin chrome or any number of powder coated finishes to suit the individual design needs.

Frameless shower screens

are the ultimate in bathroom finishing. They are the screen that features prominently in 5 star hotels and design magazines across the globe.

Our frameless shower screens are manufactured using 10mm clear toughened glass with polished edge detail for that added sparkle. All hinges and brackets are of the highest quality and their chrome finish enhances the screen giving it a contemporary elegant look.

Mirage semi frameless shower screens

are by far our most popular screen. Giving the same seamless design as the frameless screen, with only a minimal outer frame, but at a fraction of the cost.

The Mirage semi frameless shower screen enhances the look of any bathroom with its glass to glass joins, frameless glass door and polished edge detail; with the added advantage of a double pivot door allowing for the door to hinge both internally and externally. Our Mirage semi frameless shower screens can be seen in many display homes across Perth.

Nautilus framed shower screens

provide a durable framed screen with the benefit of a multitude of design options. The sill and frame design of the Nautilus range are low profile allowing for a contemporary look with the benefit of pivoting or sliding doors to suit individual requirements. The Nautilus framed shower screen is often used as an alternative in the second or minor bathroom of modern homes.

Mirrors

The team at Byford Glass can supply and fit mirrors to suit any requirement. Alternatively for the home handy man we can supply mirror, frame and fixing so that the job can be completed by you.

All of our mirrors are manufactured to Australian Standards and have organically coated backing where required for installation into wet areas or high use areas such as gymnasiums, schools or day care centres.

Our mirrors are manufactured in different thicknesses depending on their size and application and can be framed or frameless.

We provide an edging service for our unframed mirrors depending on your design requirements. Unframed mirrors can be arrissed, flat polished or bevelled in a variety of widths.

The team at Byford Glass can cut mirrors to shape to suit your timber frame or furniture requirements, or to suit car rear vision or wing mirrors.

Sliding robe doors

Sliding robe doors are a space saving, stylish and sleek design alternative. The team at Byford Glass can design, manufacture and install robe doors that will enhance the look of any room, our robe doors are routinely fitted to wardrobes in the bedroom, cupboards in the laundry, linen, pantry, gymnasium or home office.

Glazing

The team at Byford Glass are committed to providing a fast and efficient glazing service for residential, commercial, industrial, educational bodies and government clients.

Our tradesmen are all fully qualified, carry police clearances and hold certificates of competency from the Australian Glass and Glazing Association.
